The Export Cell of the Department of Trade & Commerce, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, is the dedicated institutional mechanism for coordinating, facilitating, and promoting exports from the state. It acts as the central nodal point for exporters, producers, entrepreneurs, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and investors who wish to engage in both domestic and international markets.
The Export Cell ensures that Arunachal Pradesh’s trade ecosystem evolves into a competitive, transparent, and globally connected network, aligned with India’s Act East Policy and Foreign Trade Policy.
Facilitate Export Growth
Provide guidance and support to exporters on procedures, documentation, and compliance.
Identify new export opportunities and emerging markets.
Develop Export Infrastructure
Coordinate development of warehouses, cold storage, logistics hubs, and border trade facilities.
Integrate GIS-based mapping for infrastructure planning.
Policy Support & Coordination
Implement the State Export Strategy and District Export Action Plans (DEAPs).
Coordinate with central agencies such as DGFT, APEDA, MPEDA, and EXIM Bank.
Capacity Building & Training
Organize awareness programmes, training workshops, and seminars for exporters.
Partner with national institutions for certification, packaging, and quality standards.

Support exports of horticulture crops, plantation products (rubber, bamboo), handicrafts, handlooms, and organic products.

Single-Window Support System: Acts as a one-stop service point for exporters.
Export Data Management: Maintains export statistics and generates analytical reports.
Market Linkages: Connects producers and SHGs with buyers through exhibitions and e-platforms.
Scheme Implementation: Administers financial assistance, subsidies, and gender budgeting initiatives.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Tracks progress under Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (PME) framework.
Liaison Role: Coordinates between state departments, central agencies, and international trade bodies.
Farmers & SHGs – Access to training, market linkages, and fair prices.
Exporters & Entrepreneurs – Assistance in scaling operations and accessing international markets.
